Greg Parris joined Bank of America as Senior Vice President, Operations Finance Executive in January 2016. In this capacity, Greg provides strategic finance support for Global Banking and Markets Operations covering all commercial credit, treasury and capital markets operations. Until December 2015, Greg was a Senior Finance Director for Corporate Information Management with McGraw Hill Financial for the past 10 years. In this role Greg was responsible for core financial management and control functions, design and implementation of cost recovery methodologies, and financial support for strategic technology initiatives. Greg was also President of BEAM – Black Employees at McGraw Hill Financial, one of the company’s employee resource groups, and a member of the Corporate Diversity and Inclusion Council. He has served as a mentor in the corporate sponsored mentoring programs and as chair of the Corporate Segment Diversity Committee.

Prior to joining McGraw-Hill, Greg spent over 20 years in the financial services industry. Most recently as Managing Director of Parris Associates, Inc., offering management consulting services to companies with particular focus on the diversified financial services industry. Until 2000 Greg was Senior Vice President at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where he directed New Business Development for the Procurement and Corporate Managed Services division. He joined Chase in 1988 and has managed various operations and technology functions within US Capital Markets, Global Foreign Exchange, Global Emerging Markets and Information Technology.

Greg received his undergraduate degree in accounting from New York University’s Stern School of Business and is a Certified Public Accountant. He also received his Masters in Business Administration from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Greg has served as President of 100 Black Men of New Jersey, is a member of the state advisory board of the Salvation Army – New Jersey Division, and is a lifetime member of the National Association of Black Accountants, New York Chapter. Greg and his wife Kim reside in NJ and are the parents of two adult children.
