Drew joined ADP (Automatic Data Processing) in its Small Business Service Division in 2011 and currently serves as the Vice President of Business Development. In this role Mr. Lewis is responsible for identifying, recommending, and implementing new, core-focused and adjacent opportunities that provide incremental revenue for the business. Since joining ADP he has made a strong contribution to the execution of the business strategy by expanding SBS’s reach into the financial and human resources SaaS segments. Through his leadership and work with cross functional teams, he spearheaded the business development, contract negotiations, and subsequent launch of a new product, ADP Payments, for the SBS business in 2012. In 2013 he was responsible for the business development, negotiations, and launch of a white-labeled hiring solution, ADP Hiring. In 2014 Mr. Lewis provided the business leadership on the execution of a deal with a marketplace-as-a-service provider that will develop the ADP Marketplace that will be launched in the Fall of 2014; the marketplace will serve as an online destination for ADP customers to acquire SaaS-based services and solutions to help their respective businesses.
Prior to his role at ADP, Drew worked for Air Products and Chemicals, Inc. in various roles. Most recently he served as the North American Segment Manager for Oilfield Services. In this role Drew led a cross functional team to develop a strategy to maximize opportunities for the business. The recommendations resulted in adding new assets in the field to better service customers and expand the liquid nitrogen volumes delivered to the oilfields. Mr. Lewis also served as the Global Marketing Manager for the Air Products Water business where he we responsible for the growth of this startup business inside the company. Lastly, Drew also worked in the Corporate Development office where he served as a deal advisor to business units on minority equity investments.
Immediately preceding his role at Air Products, Mr. Lewis served as the Director of Community and Economic Development in Northampton County, PA. In this leadership role Drew was responsible for the creation and oversight of a myriad of economic and community development programs. These included the oversight of the county’s $111 million economic development bond financing that was used to spur growth in the County. Mr. Lewis also oversaw the implementation of other financing programs including tax incentive financings. Additionally he created and implemented the County’s first affordable housing grant program; this program leveraged the County’s affordable housing trust fund to provide grants to new low-moderate income buyers to assist with down payment and closing costs.
Earlier in his career Drew co-founded and ran his own strategic consultancy that focused on assisting small businesses in the startup and growth phases of their enterprises. Additionally, Mr. Lewis worked for large consulting firms including Ernst and Young and Computer Science Corporation. In both of these arenas he worked with very large clients to assist them is solving complex business problems. He is also a graduate of the prestigious General Electric Financial Management Program.
Drew graduated from Brown University (BA) and the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania (MBA). He and his wife, Kate, have two sons and a daughter.
